Bago Maze is one of the world's largest hedge mazes with over 2000m of pathways and hedges, making it the perfect place for the entire family to explore.

Old Bottlebutt - 15 minutes

Old Bottlebutt is the perfect stopover for our guests planning a delightful day trip. Just a short 15 minute journey from Bago Maze and Wine. Old Bottlebutt is an ancient Red Bloodwood tree, which has a whopping 16 metre trunk!! and is over 200 years old, it’s absolutely incredible. This ancient beauty is surrounded by a 600 metre loop walking track that offers a tranquil escape where you and the kids can immerse yourself in the sounds of the birds and the endless forest of palm trees.

Rocks Ferry Reserve - 20 minutes

Along the Hastings River is a picturesque, peaceful place for the kids to have a swim and run around. There is usually plenty of action on the water, jet skis and boats. There is also a bbq area, picnic tables and a small playground. If you feel like a light stroll, it’s worth following the scenic track along the river to Jack Dwyer Reserve.

Rawson Falls - 55 minutes

Embark on a rainforest journey toward Rawson Falls, 40 metres high with a lookout along the way. To get the full experience, follow the track to the base of the falls where you will see a deep refreshing plunge pool. The track is a 4.8km return and is mostly downhill on the way down and uphill on the way back, so wear some comfortable shoes!

Waitui Falls - 1 hour

A short walk to a teeny tiny waterfall gem, off the beaten path hidden in the Comboyne State Forest. This is a nice place for the kids to swim and the perfect opportunity to fill your bottles up with fresh water from the mountains.
